PLEASE READ THIS!
The process for creation and loading
of Blackboard Vista sections has changed!
As of Spring 2006, course instructors will be
able to use an online interface, the Blackboard Vista Section Management
Utility (SMU), to select and configure their Vista sections.
Based on these requests, the sections will be created and students
enrolled. Please refer to our SMU
documentation, especially if this is the first time you are using
this tool.
- You will access the SMU using your TAMU NetID and password
- You should be the instructor of record for the course(s)
in order to be able to use the SMU to create Vista sections.
If you do not see your course(s) when you logon, please contact
your departmental SIMS person so that you are added to the
screen 130 or 13A of SIMS for the course(s).
- Once you submit your requests through the SMU, it will take
about 24 hours for your sections to be created and students
to be loaded.
- If you are requesting section loads for cross-listed
courses,
please contact ITS at 979-862-3977 or its@tamu.edu.
If you are ready, please follow the link to request the creation
and student load of your Vista sections.
