November Instructional Technology User Group Meeting about Second Life Scheduled for Wednesday, 11/11, 10:00-12:00November 2, 2009
Instructional Technology Services (ITS) will host the second Instructional Technology User Group Meeting for the fall semester on Wednesday, November 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Room 004 (basement level) of Heldenfels Hall. Jim Snell, director of ITS, will update meeting attendees regarding the progress made in developing the newly launched Texas A&M Second Life Campus, which is a unique educational environment where students, instructors, and visitors can discover, connect, and learn.
Everyone throughout campus who currently uses Second Life—or those who may be simply interested or just getting started in virtual worlds—is encouraged to attend and share their experiences and teaching techniques with the Texas A&M teaching community.
