Call for Proposals for the 2010 Teaching with Technology Conference Now OpenOctober 15, 2009
Instructional Technology Services (ITS) is pleased to announce a call for proposals for our annual Teaching with Technology Conference. 2010 marks the sixth year we will coordinate the Conference and the third year we continue to expand the event to the entire Texas A&M University System.
We request your participation to make this year’s Conference yet another successful learning and networking event. As a presenter, you will be able to share your academic knowledge and professional experience with colleagues, demonstrate innovative teaching and learning methods, and help advance technology-enhanced instruction in higher education.
Please consider the following presentation topics as suggested areas in which you can submit a proposal:
- enriching course experiences through technology-enhanced instruction
- sharing ideas and techniques to enhance student learning
- using learning management systems, such as Blackboard Vista, to facilitate teaching and learning
- designing, delivering, and assessing effective instructional design for distance or hybrid courses
The Conference will span a day and a half and will be held February 10-11, 2010, in Rudder Tower. There is no cost to attend the Conference, but attendees are encouraged to register now to allow for better event planning. Registered attendees will be served light breakfasts on both days and boxed lunches on February 10.
For additional, up-to-date information about the event, contact ITS at (979) 862-3977 or its@tamu.edu.
