2009 Instructional Technology Showcase Scheduled for Thursday, 10/22

Instructional Technology Services (ITS) will hold the fifth annual 2009 Instructional Technology Showcase on Thursday, October 22. The daylong event will be held from 8:50 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Room 204E of the Evans Library. Come discover best practices in teaching and learning as you learn how the Texas A&M teaching community is using instructional technology.

Educators from throughout campus will present 20-minute sessions covering individual software applications, technology concepts, or innovative methods for enhancing student learning. The event is a tremendous learning and networking opportunity to get overviews of various technologies from fellow educators who regularly use the tools in their own teaching and research.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day and box lunches will be served at noon for attendees who register. Attendees may come and go as their schedules permit, and there is no cost to attend.

If you are unable to attend the Showcase in person, all the sessions will be presented as a continuous, interactive Centra webconference throughout the day. TTVN will also provide a streaming video broadcast on their TTVN Live Webcasts page. Visit the Showcase event page for further details.
