About the 2010 Conference
2009 Conference Keynote Presentations
We coordinate our annual Teaching with Technology Conference at the beginning of the spring semester. Select educators from throughout the Texas A&M University System—ranging from high-level administrators and faculty members to instructional staff and teaching assistants—share their knowledge and experience with colleagues, demonstrate innovative teaching ideas, and help advance technology-enhanced instruction in higher education.
The event is a fantastic learning and networking opportunity to interact with your colleagues and share best practices in teaching and learning.
About the 2010 Conference
2010 will mark the sixth year we have coordinated the Teaching with Technology Conference. We openly encourage anyone interested—including students—to both submit presentation proposals and attend the event. The Conference spans a day and a half and has traditionally been held in the Memorial Student Center (MSC) for the past five years. This year we will hold it in Rudder Tower.
There is no cost to attend the Conference, but attendees are encouraged to register to allow for better event planning. Registered attendees are served meals on both days.
Presentation topics include:
- enriching course experiences through technology-enhanced instruction
- sharing ideas and techniques to enhance student learning
- using learning management systems, such as Blackboard Vista, to facilitate teaching and learning
- designing, delivering, and assessing effective instructional design for distance or hybrid courses
